Bio – rotorua web designer
Vicky has many years experience in designing and managing websites, starting back in 1998 when she managed a site for a non-profit organisation raising money for marine mammal research. Back in the day, when websites were coded from scratch!
From 2000 to 2004 she created a range of websites for local Rotorua businesses. Clients ranged from Indian takeaway restaurants through to Maori trusts to hotel accommodation websites. You can see some websites designed for local rotorua businesses here.
Vicky then took up a role as Website Manager with a local independent financial publisher for six years gaining even more experience managing a large portfolio of leading and very busy New Zealand business websites, including ShareChat.co.nz.
She was responsible for several major website revamps within this time, each with a strong focus on search engine optimisation. She also has considerable experience in managing online advertising and inventory, surveys, newsletters, banner design, reporting and email set-up.
Vicky is also a certified inbound marketing professional with a passion for helping small businesses get an online presence.
When not working she enjoys driving her MX5 and trying to get the hang of sharemarket investing. Once upon a time she spent a lot of time in the water as a scuba instructor, but not so much anymore, her excuse is that the water is too cold!
